Vermont Ventures Winter and or Summer Home in Winhall VT

Lovely 4 Season Vacation Home in Winhall VT

Spring is here!   The rain has turned the grass green and the daffodils are mostly done while the lilacs are coming out.    I will be putting in my garden in the next week with hardy veggie’s like lettuce, mesclun etc.   The snow on Stratton’s Slopes is mostly gone.   The Stratton Sports Center’s outdoor courts are ready – even the hartru.     The local ladies tennis teams have stratted playing their matches.  So far Betsy’s team has won one match and is looking to win several more (last year a perfect  0-8 result!)

New Listings in the Stratton Area

We are all finishing up a number of closings and getting some new listings here in the Stratton area.   People who are selling are taking this time to look at their properties and see what might be done to make them more appealing.   We try to recommend fluffing up interiors, paint, new quilts, a good clean etc and removal of all the winter dead fall.  Prices are still low and now is a great time to look. One of our favorite new listings is this  Lovely 4 Bedroom Winhal Vermont home seen above.  This was voted a best buy in our staff meeting this morning.

Betsy & Cody at the Manchester Summer Festival Horse Show

Betsy & Cody

As Stratton and Bromley are closed after a fabulous winter!  It’s time to look to all the fun things to do in Vermont. While it is not quite warm enough for casual boating, now is a great time to bike ride, horse back ride or come to hone your tennis and golf skills.   I have a horse and love to ride and show.   I plan to show at the Vermont Summer Festival Horse Show in  Manchester this summer.    In the meantime now is a great time to tune up as well as just hack out side.

Our Stratton Mountain Ladies Senior tennis team is also gearing up for 8 matches with neighboring clubs.   We are tuning our game at the Cliff Drysdale tennis School here at Stratton Mountain.     There is so much to do here in Vermont when the snow goes.    Work does go on, with people already booking rentals for next winter as well as still looking for homes to purchase here in the Stratton resort area.
